An all-round fitness trainer in a small town in Bihar has spoken about the need to be prepared for any kind and noise in the workplace.
Ajay Dutta, a 26-year-old trainer and yoga teacher, said he used to get the same kind of worries and stress at work when he started his yoga career in 2010.
He said: “I used to be afraid of all kinds of noise, so I used to ask myself if I should go outside for a walk, for example.”
But, now, when I go outside, I don’t feel the need of going out and I can go for a jog or yoga without getting any anxiety.
“So, it’s been a huge challenge to be a fitness trainer at work.”
Mr Dutcha, who runs a yoga class at the Gurdwara in his village in Bihar’s Rajasthan district, has also taken up the yoga in his home.
“I have started yoga classes and I’ve got a lot of customers who come to me for yoga,” he said.
“People who are interested in yoga also come for my classes.”
But it has also been challenging to get enough money for classes at home.
“I have to pay my teacher Rs 10,000 a month.
So, it is very difficult to make ends meet.”
Mr Kranti, a yoga instructor in a nearby village, too, said it was tough to earn money in yoga.
“Even after I started my yoga training in 2011, I had to earn a lot in my career.
I have learnt so much.
But it was difficult for me to earn anything at home,” he told the Times Now channel.
He added: “At the end of my yoga class, we have to take the students to a nearby yoga centre and they must pay Rs 20,000 per day.
So I have to earn Rs 2 lakh a month in my own income.
It is very hard to earn that.””
I also feel stressed from the noise that goes on at work.
Even at home, people are always talking and texting and chatting,” he added.
